what is the best light bulbs for continuous light photography?
Right now i have three continuous light stands, and the bulbs it came with have burned out, i need cheap lights that wont give me that ugly orange tint. So far i have used, clear bulbs, full spectrum bulbs, both of which you can buy at a hardware store. They are not giving me the color i want. I have to go to photo shop and edit most pictures. Any advice?
Photo floods which give you true color and enough light for good work are expensive and very hot. Eventually, you will have to invest in and learn how to use strobes. For continuous light, your best bet is to go with 5000k flourescent lights. These give you a close approximation of daylight. Most of the screw-in bulbs are going to give ghastly color and there isn't much you can do about it except put a corrective filter on the front of your lens.
