How much Horsepower will an Aftermarket Header and a Cold Air Intake add?
I know this question varies a lot, but just kind of an average would be great. I have an '04 Mazda6 V6. It's only has like ~220 hp right now and I want a little more power is all.
This is what I call a horse before the cart question. Headers and specialized intakes are meant to accommodate a performance built engines requirements. Cams, porting and that sort of thing. Bolting them on to a stock engine is of little value as far as horsepower increase goes. You may see a little benefit but the common installation of these items is somewhat backwards.
