What's the best way to spray paint the rear drums on my car black?
I had to buy a new set of drums for the rear. The auto parts store only had the chrome finish. They are now rusted on the outside. Needless to say, it's ugly. How can I remove the rust and paint the drums black?
I'm thinking sand paper + primer (maybe?) + black spray paint and let dry.
What if I paint over the rust?
Give them a light sand and spray with hammerite.
