Does anyone have a Mazda 6 with a MAZDASPEED cold air intake installed?
What is/are the benefit(s) of installing a MAZDASPEED instead of the aftermarket offerings(AKA: AEM,INJEN,K&N,CPE)
What performance improvements can I expect with ANY cold air intake?

Thanks for your answer. A company named CPE is claiming that they have a CAI that will boost 25hp without triggering a CEL like many others are doing with Mazda 6's. What do you think?
In relation to the Mazdaspeed 6, you will see more gains on this car than you will on a NA vehicle because it is forced induction. The gains advertised by CPE are generous, but with any well designed CAI in the Mazdaspeed 6, you should see decent and similar gains.
The Mazdaspeed Intake is actually a re-badged AEM intake, they are the exact same thing. The only difference is you get a "green" warranty rated part with the Mazdaspeed intake which means you shouldn't be hassled by dealerships for warranty service. Both are CARB certified.
The CPE, Injen, and others are all similar in design and performance numbers. The CPE is probably the nicest in terms of appearance, manufacturing, and quality, but comes at a premium price. Also, if you are in a state that requires CARB certification it is not legal because it is not CARB certified.
With the Mazdaspeed 6 in particular the key part of the intake is the section where the MAF sensor plugs-in. This vehicle is very sensitive and as long as the intake is designed properly any CAI should give you similar gains and no check engine lights.
