Is 18 hours too long to drive without stopping to sleep ?
My friend and i (both 18) plan on driving from Louisiana to north carolina this summer. Which is about 18 hours according to gps maps. Do you think that is too long to drive straight through? Only stopping for food and bathroom breaks and stuff? What would you suggest? Also, what time would you suggest we leave? Early, like 3 am?
I think that would be way too long to do in one trip, especially if you and your friend are not accustomed to driving long distance.
I would split it into two days, if you have the time.
