How to prime a wall with permanent marker and cigarette stains?
My son's walls are a mess, he has finally grown out of the "tags" and no longer smokes in his room. Now, I'm ready to clean it up. How do I cover up the permanent marker "tags" and cover up the cigarette smoke. I am assuming both will bleed through if I simply Paint. In a previous room, I had a painting contractor handle it and he had to go over several times before Kilz would ork, I saw someone said spray paint with oil base paint over it first, then kilz?Also, do I patch holes and sand before cleaning walls? Any tips you can give me to make his bedroom walls nice again would be appreciated
