Is any possibility to damage the airbag because of replacing the motor for side window?
Hi. I have SAAB 9-5 (98). The mechanic replaced a motor for the side window near the driver. After that the Airbag warning sign appeared on a dash board. Is any possibility to damage the airbag because of replacing the motor for side window?

If it is a steering wheel airbag only then no BUT........
If you car has side impact bags, which I think it will have in the seat sides, then if the sensor for these, in the door, is disconnected whilst the ignition is switched on it will cause the airbag light to come on and stay on even if it is reconnected.
The light can then only be canceled by a Saab dealer or someone with special kit.
