should i clean my maf sensor when the engine is warm or cold? does it matter?
I'm gonna clean the maf sensor with crc maf cleaner spray.
I've used the CRC MAF spray cleaner several times and don't recall the instructions caring whether the engine's hot or cold. When you first shut down the engine I believe, electrical current is passed through the wire sensor to clean it for a very brief period.
You may have trouble finding a anti-tamper type bit to fit the fasteners to remove it.
