my brothers car wont start?
my brothes 01 mazda protege was working good but when he was coming home from school it decided to die on him once he hit a red light. now it wont start.. it just cranks.. the battery is good, almost new. what could be the problem? we cleaned the battery terminals and evrything.. could it be bad spark plugs? we tried to jump start and even tried to push start it but that didnt work.. please help

we had to tow it back to the house because it wont start anymore, it doesnt turn over, the lights and wipers and all that work
yes it has gas
This NOT a timing belt issue as it is a recurring feature of this fault, The ground strap to the batter and engine has come off at the engine. Or the CPU is bad.
