i have a 94 acura and i have no idea how i can find out any suggestions? and any tips on making it faster i just installed a short ram intake.
This depends on what model your 94 integra is.
RS, LS, GS, SE = B18B1
GS-R = B18C1
Type R = B18C5
It is stamped on your engine but if its dirty its hard to see.
While facing your car, open the hood and look to the left of the engine block. It will be halfway down, near where the engine block bottom end is. Since you have a short ram intake this should be very easy to see. You'll see it stamped on there.
Integras are easy to make more power but it wont be cheap. Follow these steps:
Aftermarket intake either short ram r cold air intake. (cold air intake will make more power but if you get the filter wet you can ruin the engine)
Aftermarket exhaust: make sure it is a full catback system but the pipe diameter isn't more then 2 1/4 on a naturally aspirated engine, you need to keep some back pressure.
Header will help but depends on what style 4-2-1 or 4-1 a 4-1 is more top end power, a 4-2-1 is better lower and mid range power,
For serious power gains look into Turbo or supercharging your car. See the companies below for some good aftermarket products.
Dont forget though, if you are increasing your power you better make sure to improve your stopping power as well. Stronger brakes, and improve your suspension and engine mounts and engine internals to handle the new power.
