How do you install a pedestal corner sink without the pedestal?
the french drain gets in the way of the pedestal, and there are two holes in the sink to anchor to the wall however, it seems there needs to be some support from underneath.
Would a bracket of some type be feesable to assist in the support of the sink? Any ideas greatly appreciated. What kind of bracket and what type of material would you put on the bracket for the sink to rest on
large lag screws through the holes in the basin back, into studs could support it. if there are no studs in the right place, a 2 inch thick piece of lumber screwed to the studs and then covered with tile or other decorative material could be used to bolt to. the pedestal gives additional support which you may want to replace with some shelf brackets or some posts that fit around your french drain made from wood or other materials
If feasible, consider also the possibility of moving the French drain or elevating the sink above the drain with a corner box
