cable tv and telephone/dsl wiring, can i put them side by side and dont have signal interference on both?
Damn, contractors. I got a new house, 1 room got cable and the other got a phone jack. What are they thinking? probably profit. I'm thinking of attaching a cord to the cable and pull it from above, attach the phone wire and pull it back. I'm just worried, I'll end up with a lousy tv signal or an interference on the phone or dsl.

There will be no problem running cable and phone wire side by side. If you would run regular wire (14/2 or12/2, the wiring in your house now), together, it will cause some interference. If you run them in the same hole for a few feet, it will not give you a problem. In new homes, they actually will put the cable and phone line in the same box to, you guessed it, to save money.
