Do most H.I.D. (Xenon) driving lights require a separate ballast?
I've been looking at adding some H.I.D. driving and fog lights to my Wrangler but after doing some research I read that they require a ballast. Are the ballasts' built into most of the newer lights so that they don't require a separate unit? I've just noticed that with the kits I have looked at, a ballast is not mentioned in the "included parts" section. Thanks for your help!
If your car came with HID's stock, then it'll have ballasts. Otherwise, no.
FYI, you need projector lenses for your HID's to be "street legal" But I know theres a lot of people that run them on their cars without projector headlights
