I have a Mazda Rx7 turbo II and the low coolant sensor light/buzzer turns?
The car only has 79,000miles and I have just purchased it recently. The low coolant buzzer/light turns on every time the car is started. Coolant levels are fine and the car doesn't overheat. It has front-end body damage. The front passenger side fender and a little of the front bumper are damaged. I was wondering what would cause the sensor to come on.. bad coolant seals? bad radiator sensor? I have smelled the exhaust to see if it smells sweet to see if the coolant is leaking internally and the exhaust really doesn't have a smell..
This is a simple thing: there's a bubble on the coolant level sensor. To remedy this, remove the radiator pressure cap, start the car, put the heater on full hot and fan speed maxed out. This will force the air bubbles to the coolant filler neck where they will break. Add coolant as necessary to maintain a full load.
