is a 1994 ford ranger 4.5L engine hard to find?
i have found a 1994 4.5L 4 cylinder, the motor runs and everything, but is it a good motor to upgrade?
I don't know where you're getting your information, but they only offered the 2.3, 3.0, and 4.0 engines in the Ranger...
If you are going to upgrade, you want either a v8 or the 4.0 OHC V6 from the 97 up, they have as much power as the v8's.
One other choice is the 2.3 turbo from SVO or Turbocoupe, but they would be hard to smog because they are older.
