I recall that several automobile brands in recent years have either switched ownership and/or some even when extinct.
Specifically Mazda seems to be owned and operated by Ford or General Motors, (yes? / no?) but is still majority owned by Mazda Motors of Japan.
Anyone out there know the facts on this?
