I have a nissan sentra with h13 30000k pink hid headlights...the brand is xentec....for some reason the left hid keeps changing color maybe a day or two after install..the right side hid stays pink...ive gone through 2 sets...the ballasts are new as well (35w) anyone have an idea why the left keeps turning blue?? Ive had all kinds of colors before but this one keeps giving me problems....the wiring pins (positive and negative) look fine and go into the stock headlight connector...please help!!!!
More than likely it's because you have fried the factory wiring on that one side...or came close too... that in turn would cause your wires to fail, or overheat, when carrying the current load needed. I'm guessing that you're NOT using a relay and I suggest you begin doing so SOON. Those lights require a TON of current to start up and most of the time its more than your cars wiring can handle and therefore it degrades the wires under your hood and under your dash... melts and burns em... Install a relay for the hids asap and run the relay kit turn on wire from the side of your car with the correctly working light. This will save your factory wiring by drawing energy to power the lights from your battery rather than from your tiny, low wattage factory wiring. 25$ into a relay over thousands of $$ and time invested in tracing factory wires and having them replaced. Get a relay or make one... there are diagrams all over the internet. Good luck.
