power valve problem on aprilia?
I have a 2000 X reg aprilia rs 125 it is derestricted, i have not dip or loss of power but when the bike reaches 8000 rpm the acceleration stops and then only struggles to reach 9000 rpm. i can see the solenoid for the power valve slowley moving but nothing seems to happen, is it worth taking out the power valve and cleaning it(assuming there is one in there) or is it advisable to replace it with a new on all together or is there anything else that can be recommened?
