Brian Fog??!!!!! Does anyone suffer from it or know any causes?
I'm an 18 year old male and for the past 3-4 years i've been suffering from this annoying thing that i can only describe as 'Brain Fog'. It's like this grey filter that has been put on my thoughts. I forget things every 5 minutes and have trouble remebering simple words like 'Hello'. Sometimes it gets so bad that i just want to kill myself; it gets to a point where its like having some kind of dementia. I've been to the doctors and they just ignore me all the time and tell me that it's stress or depression, but it's been going on for years now, never ending! The fog is always there for me, it never goes; it's constant.
Has any one any ideas what could be the cause?

I would go to your GP and demand to see a specialist. It could be a mini epileptic "fit" where you just go blank for a few seconds and then forget what you were saying or doing. I can relate to what you are saying as I suffer something similar. I had the standard Alzheimer's test with a psychiatrist who put it down to a short attention span and stress, so know what you are going through, but I would definitely try to get your GP to refer you to a neurologist, and don't get fobbed off, as it is your right to get correct referal treatment from your GP in the hope that a neurologist will look at your problem in a different way than an ordinary general practitioner.
