I just moved into a house with a Mr. Slim air conditioner. Why would it be leaking water?
It is a large AC, the alternative to central air since we have hot water heat. It is mounted to the wall and has a hose going through the wall to the compresser. But the water isnt going through the hose outside. Any ideas on why it would do this out of no where?
Air conditioners cool a coil over which the air passes and water condenses out. This drains into a pan and then through a tube to the outside. This tube is blocked. A common problem. Find it and clear it.
