Is it OK if i take the air filter lid off my Honda Recon? exhaust?
On my Honda Recon i took the air filter lid off to give it a better air intake, and i wasnt sure if it was ok to do that? My friend a K and N filter and exhaust but the filter box didnt need a lid cause he had a filter cover, but mine is a foam filter. So i dont know if its to safe.
If the rest of your machine is stock there is no point in taking the cover off. It will just make more intake noise, probably get the filter more dirty sooner, and you will lose the cover making your ATV worth less money when you eventually go to sell it.
