I need to set timing, as in, sync motor to computer
There is no way to do this, it's all done by the computer. If it's the same engine then the computer will need to be diconnected from the battery for about 2 hours to reset the ECM. After that hook up the battery and the computer will snyc the components. IF the timing is off this is a sign of a jumped timing belt or chain. Should you cantinue to have this problem you will need to check the timing marks and make sure they are inline. One other thing, if the crank sensor is bad this too can cause a problem. If this has a coil pack make sure that the wires are all on tight and that they are going to the correct cylinders. You also need to check to see if you are getting spark.
These are the main things associated with the proper timing of this engine, if you are still having issues after checking and testing these parts, then I would suggest that you try a different ECM.
