In today's economy it's critically vital to get the most you can for your spending dollar. So there's no sane reason to over pay for Miata Grand when there are 1000's of them for sale on eBay. Plus, eBay is one of the biggest and most honest online shopping sites in the modern world. This site is authorized by eBay to help you find the Miata Grand you are looking for and show them to you. If you don't see the Miata Grand you are shopping for below. Use the search feature on the right to find the variety you want.
Let me make this simple. I have to buy my own car and have around 4 grand saved up. I want to know peoples' opinions on reliable (maybe just a little sporty) cars available for my price range. I am more for Japanese cars than American. Also don't want to have to put money into repairs.
Here are my ideas. Check them out and let me know what you think.
1.) 94-99 Acura Integra
2.) 94-99 Acura TL
3.) 98-01 Honda Civic Sedan/Hatch/Coupe
4.) 98-02 Mitsubishi Eclipse
5.) 92-96 Honda Prelude
6.) 90-98 Mazda Miata
7.) 97-99 Mazda 626
8.) 95-99 Toyota Tacoma
9.) 90-96 Mitsubishi 3000GT
Please let me know.
Too easy few repairs and low on cash. Civic if you look hard enough and patient you could probably go new than 01. But make sure it is bone stock and check the history. Honda or Acura be very careful because many of the cars you have are "tuner" cars. You may run into a car with aftermarket parts chances are that you will run into many problems with these cars and that they will have been driving very hard way harder than intended. I also suggest purchasing from a private party search around and find a clean one.
Car buying tips for anyone:
1) save money buy from a private party (with cash cars this is your best bet as most dealers don't make many repairs to cash cars)
2) buy from someone who has had the car for a significant number of time or mile. 3 yrs or 50k miles is a good measuring stick
3) buy from someone knowledgeable. Buy BONE stock ask to see service history most cars come with a book that will be stamped every time they take it in for service
4) pull the carfax/autocheck whichever you prefer
5) make a checklist of what you want to inspect before you see the car because once you get there and the car is in front of you it will be hard to remember everything
6) if it is within your budget order a third party inspection if not then try and take a buddy with you that knows cars. Even if you know cars well always bring someone with you. Its safer and two sets of eyes are better than one.
