A common car like the civic you should be able to find many kits resist the urge to buy a buddies used turbo.
It will cost longer in the log run when you need to buy all the plumbing and associated bits and pieces for the oil feed and drain for the turbo
Try to find a kit that includes.
Turbo something along the lines of a tdo4-s16g
Header or exhaust manifold
Wastegate
Larger injectors/ or new program for the computer but larger injectors are preferred
Intercooler when you install the kit is the best time to install a front mount intercooler.
And All the intercooler piping to plumb the intake system.
The most important thing you will need that wont be in a kit is a wideband air fuel guage(look at AEMs UEGO) Narrow band guages are for natural aspirated cars and only are good for a light show.
