I have a 94 Chevy K1500 with a tapping or flapping noise and a blinking AC control module

Yeah you definitely have a vacuum problem. Ah! with the age of the truck could be that some of the vacuum lines have split where they connect to the solenoids and control module. I'd check for split lines. Starting under the hood check every where vacuum lines are connected to something and at every connector (where vacuum lines are joined together.
