Turbo dump pipes and screamer pipe question?
Is this the one and the same thing?
Turbo dump pipe is connected to the back of the turbo and is the first part of the exhaust system.
A screamer pipe comes off the external waste gate and is not reconnected back into the exhaust system. This is how it gets its name, supposedly it screams when on boost.
If the screamer pipe was plumbed back in to the exhaust system it would not be called a screamer pipe.
To answer your question, they are not the same thing.
