Can a low-tone horn that requires 24v be used with 12v?
I bought a low-tone horn for my car. However did not realize that it requires 24 volts until I opened the package. SInce it was a final sale, I cannot return it (was only $2.50). Now I know the batter in my truck is 12v, so can I use this horn as is? What would be the symptoms of too little voltage supplied?
Can I somehow boost the voltage? Like via a simple circuit?
Think it should work but with less decibels.
