I'm willing to buy an HID kit for my car, and the website i'm checking right now brings the following description for the replacement ballast:
One 12V 35W normal replacement ballast. Fits on all models of 12V 35W xenon HID conversion kits. Protected by solid metal cases which are fully waterproof/weatherproof. Starter/Ignitor is combined with the ballast for easier installation.
Can somebody explain me what do they mean by "Starter/Ignitor is combined with the ballast for easier installation"?

All this means is that the ballast is digital, in the old days, the ignitor was built outside the ballast, an extra part and in those days, they were analog ballasts.
Now most of the ballasts are digital, you really don't have to go into details , just make sure to ask if it's digital or not
