Replacing vents in a VW Jetta?
I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta and would like to remove the vents from the dash. They are the type of vents that are lit by LED lights and have the 'shutters' that close them. I have looked everywhere trying to find out how to remove these types of vents, but I haven't had any luck. Can anyone help me out?
Very carefully insert a flat-blade screwdriver or putty knife in-between the vent and the dash. Wiggle it back and forth until there is enough room for your fingertips. Pull it out. DO NOT PULL ON THE SHUTTERS!
