What is this Knocking in my 2002 mazda 626?
I have a 2002 mazda 626 and when i put it in reverse it makes a clattering sound, also when i take off at a fast speed is makes a different almost popping sound. i just changed the cv joints yesterday so i know it may not be that. what could it be?
thanks guys for your answers, is wasn't as bad as i thought it was. the problem is, is that i need new barrens. so if you have this sound going on in your car, this may be your problem. hope this is helpful.
If this sound STARTED after you did the CV joints and did not do it before that, then it is the CV joints. You screwed it somewhere there. Makes sense. Undo it. You may have to replace them again-you may have put them in backward or something like that.
When in doubt get THEM TO DO IT.
