Like, what color eyeliner or eyeshadow makes brown eyes pop?
*My eyes are kinda amber-ish. In the light, they're a lot lighter.
Does purple eyeliner work nice?

black or quite a darkish brown eyeliner (to match your eyes but with a bolder finish) with a emerald green eyeshaddow, only use lightly, sparkly one for an event or if your going out you could even mix in some silver to add a more smokey feel
the purple eyeliner would be a great contrast with your eye colour, for the shaddow to go with it: Apply purple all over the lid besides crease
and then apply black/gold/silver/blue in crease and create a smoky effect.
the darker eyeliner and mascara should help to make your eyes look broader
