I had the wrong oil cap on my 1998 Jeep grand Cherokee and didn't realize it till today?
I went and bought a new one immediatley but what are the side effects of not having the right oil cap. It wouldn't tighten all the way.
Absolutely no problem. The cap is simply... a cap, if oil wasn't leaking out - that's very unlikely, it's fine.
