I have been told that a mazda626 I4 engine is parts compatible with a 1997 ford probe I4 engine. is this true?

Also I'm not sure which route you are asking for but either a straight swap or turbo upgrade ect. Solo miata or thier forum can help. Or the probe forum as well.
