headlights ... for a 95 eclipse?
right now i am using a 9005 and 9006 halogen bulbs on my car ... i like them but the clear white jsut isnt doing it for me ... i want something that "pops" more ... do i have to stick these numbers or can i use other bulbs?
The xenon bulbs are your next choice. Check your local laws regarding this matter though. Sometimes, cops in certain areas are very strict about this and you'll get cited. The numbers (9005,9006) pertains to the type of bulb being used in the car. It differs in every car model. That told, an H3 (fog light bulb) won't fit the Eclipse headlight. The xenon 9005 and 9006 come with different lighting intensity. The bluer the light, the higher the intensity is and it's measured in K (kelvins). You have to be aware of the wattage too when replacing your bulbs. The higher the wattage, the more heat it produces. You don't want to fry your wirings when you use the higher wattage. Replacing the fried wirings is a b!tc#. I had mine replaced after I fried mine and it cost me over a grand. It wasn't worth it! Good luck!
