Why are my HID H4 Hi/Low Bulb not working?
need help because i try to install the kit and there is something wrong
when i turn on the low beam the high beam comes on rather than the the hid (in low beam)
then when i switch to high beam mode the lights go off completely
bulb is H4(hi/low)
I checked everything (Replaced fuses for 25 rather than 15 and also purchased a new optima battery and still nothing, I only get the halogen bulb to come on but not the main HID Bulb
There was no relay kit sent. Also the headlight switch is set to low but the highs come on.
These are brand new just opened and installed today.
have you checked the ballast assembly? it is a little sensitive to moisture especially on the igniter ports.
or maybe you have the headlamp switch locked on the high beam position. aftermarket HID conversion with halogens for the hi's automatically turn the HID off when in high beams.
also, check the relay kit. you might have just jumbled the connections in there. good luck.
