Install H7 headlights on my car?
I bought a set of Sugo Racing H7 headlights for my '04 Spectra because they said they were compatible. I tried to install them and found out that the lights have only 2 connectors unlike the bulbs in it that have 3 metal connectors. I bought a Motomite headlight connectors to use the Sugo lights, the Sugo's are 80w-100w rating but the owner manual says the replacements should be 55w. Will I have problems if I wire up the new 2 slot connectors and use the Sugo's?
if the bulb has onlt 2 connectins it is only a low beam light bulb. the third is for the high.
as far as running the highr wattage light bulbs.. ive read that those bulbs dont last very long at all, they burn out quick. as far as drawing too much power i wouldnt worry about that you have a fuse for each light so that will burn out before u have a fire. a 100 watt light bulb makes alot of heat i dont know it might melt your headlight assembly.
