i have a 512 kb/s internet connection and that's the highest speed which my ISP supports and i can only use this ISP.
i have a 5 pc network and 1 adsl router modem (Planet ade-4400a) and 2 tel lines.
i want to add 1 512kb/s connection on my other tel line and add it into my network so my internet connection speed in lan will be 1Mb/s.
i don't want to seperate 2 connectons which 512 goes through 2pcs and 512 to 3 pcs.
I want all 1mb/s in 1 pc.
and I don't know how to do it.
plz guide me in details plz.
The only way this will work is if the two lines are "bonded" at the ISP.
You on your end can't do this and get 1mbs it has to be done at the ISP.
Otherwise there will be two IP's at your end and you simply can't combine them for high total bandwidth. You can load balance, you can use fall over, you can still benefit from them but you can't combine them.
Check to see if the ISP can BOND the two lines. That is the ONLY way you can get them to be higher bandwidth.
