Why are my low beams not working?
I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia. This model has the 9003/HB2 lights which is a high/low beam combined. I was stupidly toying around with the headlights with a new HID conversion kit (I realize this was a bad idea now.) Well now the low beams will not work at all, but my high beams still work. Please help me on what the problem may be and how to fix it.
Since headlights draw enough current, they usually put a fuse after the light switch, as well as the one before the light switch. So check fuses first. But it could also be the hi/low relay. Check its output with a test light. It is just a question of tracing it from where there is current, and you know there is current at the switch because the highs work, to the bulbs. Since it is both, it can't be after they divide.
