What headlight bulb size is needed to replace a 2006 Nissan Murano headlight?
I have looked for this information on the internet and in auto parts stores and have seen so many mixed answers that I have no clue which bulb is the right bulb I need for my 2006 Nissan Murano. I am looking to get a Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Nigh Vision Halogen bulb. The 2 sizes that I keep seeing are the 9007 and the 9006. Which model is the correct one that I need?? Most places say 9007. but then some places I see 9006. Some say the 9006 is for fog lights but others say its for the headlights. These are both different styles as well. The 9006 is an L shape and the 9007 is just a straight bulb. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! I cant find this on the Nissan website as well and I dont have the manual, it never came with the car when i bought it used... Thank you for all your help! I need brighter light, I cant see well with the factory installed lights! Thanks again!
You may have to remove the inner fender to get to the back of the head light assembly. The owners hand book is not specific as to what bulb it takes. High beam and other lamos may not be accessable with the combo lamp in the fender. You may also have to remove the front bumber. Good Luck
