Is it good to have led bulbs together with the headlights bulbs in the same headlight assembly?
To break down my question. I currently have a 1997 Oldsmobile 88 LS, all of the bulbs in both of my headlights went out today, which I found very weird. I've already replaced my daytime running lights (3100K) and high-beams with their OEM bulbs. I'm going to buy new amber bulbs (3157) tomorrow for my turning signals. I'm thinking of upgrading to LED Amber's. Knowing how my vehicle's headlights are designed, will heat from the daytime running lights effect the LEDs. The amber bulb and headlight bulb are separated by the hi-beam in the middle (which I barely use). Because they are separated, I think the heat won't effect them at all.
yes ,you can mix them together but make sure that the lights power supply is in the same ,actually led lights is much better ,
