A Miata NA or a P71 police interceptor crown vic....?
I know I know a BIG difference between theses cars lol. But seriously I wonder If I should get a Miata 1990-1994 or a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 2000 and up. I want them basically because they are RWD. Both of them will be project cars. I wanna do a unique car where I live...kinda bored to see civics all the time.
I planed to put a S2000 engine and drivetrain into the Miata. As for the Crown Vic, I'll put a 5 speed transmission, some upgrade on the engine and lower it.
Plz don't put comments about the miata being a gay car...am way passed that shit. Just give me some good/bad points about both cars and I also wanna know how's the handling of the P71.
I actually think Crown Vics look really cool with custom mag wheels and Maurader style dual exhaust tips. They just have that "late model muscle car" appearance. Crown Vics are great cars in general. They are super reliable, economical for a V-8, and last forever. I've driven a P71 before and they handle pretty good for a bigger car. I think the Police upgrade gives the car tighter suspension if I remember correctly.
The Crown Vic's 4.6 2-valve V-8 is a great motor for the addition of a mild supercharger kit. You can also add a lot of Mustang performance parts like headers, throttle body, MAF, cam, heads, etc. 3.73 gears would be a nice addition too.
