so i'm looking to buy an hid kit for my car just to experiment with it. after looking on ebay i found 2 kits that are good prices but they have different style ballasts. one has the traditional square ballast and the other there weired cylinder shaped ones. the cylinder ones look like they may be better for my car since it is small but i don't know if they are any good since all the vids and people use the regular square ballast. is anyone a hid expert on here that can give me an honest opinion.

yes most hid conversions are basically two bulbs and two ballast. They can be illegal if not put into the right housing. It is up to the customer to buy the appropriate housing and bulbs for the car. Its the same thing with any aftermarket part for your car. There are responsibilities. If you are looking for everything you need to make it a safe conversion try these guys.
