I need a "new", or "used" replacement OEM seat for my 2004 Honda Gold Wing. But I'm broke! Any suggestions?
If anyone has a seat that they don't need, because they've bought a new, or custom seat. I would be delighted to take it off your hands. I ride my '04 Wing everyday and the darn thing has a bad rip in it and it's getting rain water into the foam. Two answers; E-Bay has lots of seats and parts for sale. People buy a new bike and the first thing they do is modify it. Seats are almost a certain switch. Then after a year, they decide to try and sell the old seat which is practically new.. Also, dealers sell a new bike and before the owner takes it they want to change the pipes, handle bars, seats, add more chrome, etc. They will spend thousands and where do all the "old" parts go? The dealer keeps them because the owner doesn't want them. You can find good deals at a dealer who does a lot of business. They don't have a good market for "old" new parts and are anxious to unload them at a 100% profit. Good Luck
p.s. an upholstery shop is a cheap fix if you take them the seat and not the whole bike. Good Luck
