Where can I study a conversion course for Law in the UK ?
I plan to study Mathematics , and then head on to a law degree once completed . My question is where can I study a conversion course after my Mathematics degree . I heard something about this at Oxford but have been unable to find any more information regarding this .

The course you want to do can be called either the GDL or the CPE (it means the same). Here is a list -

Most of the more prestigious universities don't do the GDL - they tend to offer a two year LLM (Master of Law) instead, but there really isn't any point doing one of those as even the top law firms are perfectly happy with the one year GDL. Many people do the GDL at either College of Law or BPP, as these tend to be well respected and have colleges in several locations across the UK. However it doesn't really matter where you do your GDL. Law firms don't care a great deal about the prestige of the institution as the course is pretty much standardised, so you can just choose whichever is most convenient for you. Personally I'm doing mine at UWE, purely because I live in Bristol
