I was playing Xbox and the TV just shut down. with a hyper flashing red light. and a blue one to match as well.. it just shut down. I think the thing went out. what happen it want show a picture again. whats wrong?
Most Likely, you are talking about a JVC CRT projection TV.
Lastly if the problem caused the red and blue to emit too much radiation the TV's safety circuits would engage to
protect you and the TV
If you can unplug the TV for 10 mins then plug it back into the wall outlet the TV may come back on.. briefly
this is best done by a service tech it may only do this once more
and lastly there is control assembly that connects the flyback transformer the high voltage divider and the CRTs
this contains the Electrical Focus and G2 screen bias
controls for all 3 CRTs
If the Green Focus pot arc'd the discharge of over 1000 volts into the G2 of the red and blue (nominal 450 volts) would cause a very bright flashing effect and shutdown
