How to get marker out of suede and ink out of carpet?
I accidentally got crayola marker (they are not labeled as washable, but they aren't permanent) on my roommate's brand new brown suede boots. What's the safest way to remove the marker without ruining the suede or affecting the color of the boot? I also got "washable" stamp ink on our brown carpet in the dorm. Is there anyway to get that out without ruining the carpet? I'm going to try blotting both with warm water, but if that doesn't work, what can I do next that won't permanently change the color of the boots or the carpet?
try saturating both items with CANED hairspray. then BLOT to absorb the inks, do not rub. keep using the canned hairspray till all the ink is gone. this answer was chosen at least twice for removing ink.
