the replacement stop light switch in my 95 eagle talon is too short to function. any ideas?
the break lights stay on as long as the battery is connected. got a replacement from auto zone but its too short to make full connection. the button functions if pushed but the break pedal alone doesnt seem to push the button in far enough. tried adjusting it but still doesnt work. the one that was in it is noticably longer.
Since the new switch is noticeably shorter than ^the old one, they must have given you the wrong switch. Take it back and get the proper one. Take the old one to match up.
