will a rear sway bar make my cars ride poor?
I'm getting coilovers on my car, at a firm spring rate. I'm also thinking about getting a rear sway bar (18mm or 20mm). will the sway bar add to the poorer ride quality i'm going to experience with the coilovers? will i feel every bump in the road, and would my car ride better without it?
The stiffer sway bar will not make your car's ride any worse than it is now. It will improve your handling during hard cornering like in an emergency. It is a good option to pursue. It also may improve your ride slightly if your back passengers in a fully loaded car complain about swaying/wallowing ride.
