Looking for a boost/vacuum gauge?
Hey everyone.
Well I want to buy my boyfriend a boost gauge but I have no idea what to look for exactly. I'm looking on Ebay and I found one a boost and vacuum gauge. It says its universal and JDM. I have no idea what JDM means? Is that good? He has a 2005 Volkswagon GTI if that helps any. Help me out here. What should I be looking for?
Hello, stay away from the E-Bay China made inaccurate cheapo gauges!! Go to www.summitracing.com and order part # ATM-6103 ($77.95) which is a vacuume/boost gauge made by Auto Meter Corp. It has a black face and the numbers glow blue at night when the lights are on. You will need to order a "Gauge Pod" to mount the gauge in also so order part # ATM-20019 ($29.95) which is a pod that the GTI lovers seem to like best as it mounts on the steering column. Hands down, Auto Meter is the leader in gauge accuracy and quality PERIOD!!! Oh, and JDM stands for "Japanese Domestic Market"...
