Which one is better the Marshall MG4 MG50FX 50W guitar amp or the Orange Crush PiX CR35LDX 35W guitar amp?
I need a new guitar amp and i was just wondering which on is better. I mainly play 70's and 80's rock and some blues.
I would suggest saving up some more money and opting for a tiny Terror / Dual Terror by Orange...or Go with Marshall MA / Haze/ Class 5 /Used DSL or TSL. The Sound will be much better for the kind of music you play.
The MG is aimed mostly at the nu metal crowd and I don't think it's very good for old fashioned rock / hard rock / blues. I'm not sure on the Orange crush, but I'd take a tube based Marshall / Orange / Bugera over it any day of the week.
If your budget is really limited, consider the entry level tube amps by Epiphone, Fender, and Bugera.
